Bus Accident Investigation And Road Closure Advisory

Delaware State Police is currently investigating two separate traffic crashes. A bus crash happened around 3:15 p.m. on US 13 at Marsh Branch Road near Greenwood. The bus was carrying students and two possible minor injuries are being reported. It appears to be a Woodbridge School District bus however the ages of the students are unknown.

The road closure is do to an overturned tractor trailer carrying live chickens. This accident however occurred at 1:22 p.m. and the roadway is still currently closed because of an electric pole needing to be replaced. Delaware Electric Co-op is attempting to correct the problem I do not believe the tractor trailer is still at the crash scene.
