What's amazing is that the parents haven't reported the child missing. Probably crackheads.

OMG... That child must be so scared. I hope the parents dont get him back, anyone is better than that..

How much you want to bet the parents are gone and havent been found yet.

Terrible, just terrible! Sadly if the parents come forward or are found, they or there family will regain custody of this sweet child.

LOCK UP THE PARENT.

Looking at this picture just breaks my heart. There is no sparkle in his eyes. He looks scared and confused.

Chances are he was left with a young sibling (8-9 yrs old) while both parents work or do whatever and no one will come forward until they get off from work or come home.

Thank God he wasnt run over,or kidnapped or worse before the police found him.An angel was on his shoulder.Sadly the courts will probably turn him back over to the very ones who were supposed to be caring for him before he is taken permanently and by then he will be scarred by it all.

Although I'm skeptical (good chance the parents are crackheads) lets not rush to judgement. The parent might be laid out on the floor from a medical emergency (stroke) for all we know. But I will say that at 2, the kid should have been taught how to point out his own house and recite his address.

Nakomis Ave and Seminole Bvld. AKA "The Reservation" has always been a bad neighborhood. I agree with 1:23 that the parents are at work and can't afford daycare but there are so many agencies that would help pay for it. Not excusable.

I am not sure who the guardian of this little boy left him with, but I know that he does not have older siblings... I just pray that the MSP uses the information that was provided to them and finds his guardians... He is such a happy and loving little boy... He is actually between 3 or 4...

@2:05, this child has speech difficulties. He cannot recite his own address. And for that matter, not many 2 year olds can... Home addresses and phone numbers are taught around the age of 4 to 5.

Sometimes bad things turn out to be blessings in disquise.

And we wonder why the kids today are aimless criminals. This poor guy is already on that road with parents that don't care.

They probably never learned the differance.

It's spelled Nokomis, not Nakomis

We have alot of old school grand parents stepping up to the plate in bad situations because it is the right thing to do. What the hell else you going do? What are we going to do when all those old school grand parents are gone? Who will pick up the pieces and carry on then?

Home addresses and phone numbers are taught at whatever age the parents decide to teach them. My child knew both at age 2 1/2 because I took the initiative. Teaching children is a joint effort between families and teachers.
