How did they end up doing with the ticket sales for the beach house and car? I know at one point when I spoke with Chris Hagel (before all of the media attention) they were concerned about selling enough. Just was curious if the TV promotions they ended up doing helped generate more ticket sales for this great cause, if anyone knows? Good Luck Chuck!

Chuck and his family were on the Bonnie Hunt Show and the raffle was announced on there. After a few weeks, the winner was announced. The raffle did not bring in all the money Chuck needed, so an anonymous donor called and said he would make up the difference.

If a donor made up the difference why are they doing a golf tournament?

The golf tournament is being held to help with the costs of post transplant medications which he will have to take for the rest of his life and are expensive. The donor made up the difference for the lung transplant surgery.
