This message needs to be brought to all Americans. I believe everything he said to be true, but yet it's just the tip of the spear.
I was in elementary school durinf the bicentennial of 1776, and I was taught from a very young age why our country was so great. I was taught, and still to this day embrace our founding fathers, I embrace that we have one creator who gives us our rights.
I am thankful for my life in America, for I have been to other countries and have walked among their people. Even with all of our faults, we are the greatest country in the world, and there is not even a close second. Our charity, our scietific breakthroughs that have saved or helped millions of people and our generosity is not equalled by any other nation.
Learn what it means to be an American. Teach your kids and grandkids what it means to be an American. Or have you forgotten?

people need to get off this candy coated founding fathers schtick both Washington and Jefferson had un-christian relations with persons they had on their books as property and Franklin's bastard child was a hold out loyalist

Amen 9:41. I'm a proud American. Son and brother of multiple veterans from almost all branches of service. But cut the BS about the US being some shining saint. This country has done alot of good, and we've done our fair share of bad. It is what it is; but I will still fight to protect her, she is my home, and I work every day to make her a better place for my kids. With that said, you can't make something better if you choose to only look at the good things and never address the bad.
