I really think the ticket prices and wrist band prices are a scam. Yeah $12.00 isnt bad to ride all night but have 3 kids...one being age 3...So for $36.00 you will have 1 kid that will probably be worth the $12.00 and a middle child who may ride 5-6 things and isnt really worth the $12.00 but the little one will ride maybe 1-2 if Im lucky 3 rides and is so not worth the wrist band, but the ticket prices are what, like $2.00 a ticket?????? UNREAL. My kids like the carnival, but who can afford it today? total cost of a night at the carnival at least $50.00 easy.....not worth it to me.

Why is it that people seem to forget that these carnivals are FUND RAISERS?
Of course your prices are going to be a little higher.
I understand the wrist band argument when you have multiple children but let's face it, if they offered a "family" rides plan, you would have those who would bring every kid on their block and say they are their kids just to get the cheaper rate.
If you're not interested in helping out the fund raising event, then just don't go.
They're still cheaper than say Delaware State Fair, or the Chicken Festival, which are not fundraisers for the local organizations, are they?

Think of it this way.

Buying tickets and food at a firemans carnival is the most fun you can have while making a donation to a worthy cause.

The money you spend/donate buys equipment that may save your house and family someday.

I was very upset when my husband and myself went to the carnival to have some fun with my grandkids we paid the $24.00 for 2 wristbands they got on 1 ride then my grandson wanted to get on the slide only to be told he was to small and that my husband would have to ride with him so they proceded up the steps to go down the slide in the blink of of an eye they were down to the bottom only to find that my husband could barely stand up he finely got up and could hardly walk the person that was working the slide that evening came over and asked him if he was ok he thought he had the wind knocked out of him but it was more serious than that we had to leave the carnival after only being there for 20 minutes with a 3 year old grandson that was very upset and we did not have much family fun only to go to the emergency room that evening to find out that he has a fractured vertibre in his back where he came up 6inches 3 times where the slide was to fast needless to say this $24.00 and a very dissapointing evening has cost us a small fortune for something that should have been fun luckily he can still walk even though for the next 4 months he will be in a back brace. He noticed when he went to the top of the steps there was a can of pledge there I dont think it was used for dusting I think that this accident could have been avoided. After our incident we only found out that there were quite a few more accidents on this slide.
my daughter went there a few nights later and said people that were going down it were barely making it to the bottom so apparentley something was being done to make them go faster so look where doing this has altered our life for a while for something that was unnecessary i think this should be checked into.
