PHOENIX -- The Arizona House on Wednesday approved a bill that would require President Barack Obama to show his birth certificate if he hopes to be on the state's ballot when he runs for re-election.
The House approved the measure on a 31-29 vote, sending it to the Senate.
It would require U.S. presidential candidates who want to appear on the ballot in Arizona to submit documents proving they meet the constitutional requirements to be president.
Supporters say the bill would help settle a controversy over whether Obama was born in the United States.
Opponents say it's a waste of time that makes Arizona mocked by the rest of the country. Obama has released his Hawaii birth certificate proving he's a "natural-born citizen" qualified to be president.

If the main stream press would have done their job and fully vetted Obama this type of legislation would not be necessary.
There was even a house hearing checking into whether or not McCain was eligible to be POTUS, but nothing about Obama from his Birth Cert to his college transcripts or his college thesis, none of which he will allow to be released.
Does anyone really wany Biden as POTUS and that moron Pelosi next in line????
at any job, youre required to give your 'creditials' such as ss card, dl, etc...
as such, being the position as it is, we should delve a little further into this.
however, that being said, i dont like the 'rule' that only native born citizens can be president. if you can do the job, you should be there.
Obama has more than I have: A piece of paper with some typed words and numbers on it with a raised seal.
He also has a newspaper birth announcement.
He has presented both.

Folks you lost. Get over it. If President Obama did not prove he was a citizen of USA, then he would not have been President. I don't believe the USA has gotten so incompetent.

One day, maybe in the far far away future, those of you stuck on stupid may learn to drop this issue. The issue is dead and guess what...Obama is still the President. If you don't like it, pack up and pick another country that will co-sign your madness.
