Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office And Maryland Sheriff’s Association Scholarship Program

April 21, 2010 -- The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Maryland Sheriff’s Association, is sponsoring two $500.00 scholarships to be awarded to graduating seniors from Wicomico County public schools. Applicants must be a graduating senior who is college bound and pursuing a career in the Criminal Justice field. Scholarship funds must be used for tuition, books, or other academic supplies.

Scholarship applications, criteria, and details on the selection process can be obtained from guidance counselors at all Wicomico County High Schools, or by calling the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office at 410-548-4892, x208. The deadline for submitting scholarship applications is May 17, 2010.
