TOWN OF HEBRON NEEDS A MAJOR OVERHAUL NOW

Even if the developer from Wilmington has reimbursed all of the humongous legal fees and costs that the Town has incurred to do the ill-fated rezoning for that “Waller Landing” monstrosity, the Town’s elected officials and advisors should be replaced. To imagine that the proposed project would have enhanced and not devastated the community is ridiculous. And they violated the most basic rules of procedure and fair play, as the Circuit Court found, while turning their back on local residents who opposed the project.

In addition, the Town officials are disregarding the local and State concern about its sewage treatment capacity and discharge into the waterway as well as the County’s comprehensive plan for growth and development. The ship is rapidly running onto the rocks without competent control and guidance.

There is only one solution – by cleaning the house. Let’s hope the citizens of Hebron proceed ASAP.

It's hard to beat out Salisbury as the laughingstock of the Shore, but that crowd in Hebron has done it.

Wasn't Hebron just fined by the State for pollution or something similar?

It's a little town with Big Egos. Hooper and Cox just do whatever they want. Need to get someone that has experience in building and developing. Joe, you need to go to the meeting and crack it open.
