52 percent of Americans said President Barack Obama doesn't deserve reelection in 2012, according to a new poll.
44 percent of all Americans said they would vote to reelect the president in two and a half years, less than the slight majority who said they would prefer to elect someone else.
Obama faces a 44-52 deficit among both all Americans and registered voters, according to a CNN/Opinion Research poll released Tuesday. Four percent had no opinion.

I think the percentage is far more than that, millions have lost their phones...internet and their homes...how the heck can you get their opinions? heck this poll is from cnn... it's surely construed anyway

Which is why presidents are given 4 years not one. Holla back in 2011 when the key numbers (unemployment, GDP, etc.)are out. If the numbers are looking good, I want to see a repost of this as well as all the negative comments that I'm sure will follow today. Numbers down? Then I'll be the first one to line up and vote for another candidate (unless conservatives are crazy enough to nominate Palin).
You are forgetting how the Tea Party will split the GOP vote in two. 48% would win a three-way race.
