I am excited to high-light the local and regional economy? WTF.

"Mayor Ireton, your town is one of the most dangerous in America, your wastewater plant doesn't work, and people are hurting for jobs. Why would a company want to move to Salisbury again?"

This is one interview I'd be afraid to take part in.

Has he bumped his head in one of his many falls? Worst of the recession is over? I can't tell. People still unemployed, businesses closing left and right and he thinks it's over? What a f'n maroon

Is anybody making sure that the big businesses that are still here are happy? That might be something were taking care of. We cant loose anymore.

Then do whatever you have to do to get these builder/developers moving again, you do that the rest or at least some of it will take care of itself. You think they like these payments with no profit? Repair the construction and then draw in manufacturing. Thats how we build this shit back,IMO.

Who in the heck would want to come to Salisbury? High taxes, high crime, filthy river, poor roads, road congestion, loads of wannabe ganstas, etc. Yep---those are all real draws to the area.

The public school system in Wicomco County is a poorly funded excuse for education. (Just look at how many private schools are thriving in our area). The high cost of electric power should be enough to discourage any large businesses to come here, not to mention a crime rate that rivals that of Baltimore city. Rah rah Mayor Ireton.
