Salisbury Police Department Press Releases


On November 3, 2009 at approximately 12:01 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a residence on the one hundred block of Cherry St. for the report of a subject injured on a roof. Upon arrival the officers located a single adult male victim on the roof of the residence. The victim advised that he had been on the roof of the residence painting and became involved in an argument with the below listed suspect. As a result of the argument the suspect used a broom to push the victim from the roof onto another roof. The victim was transported to the Peninsula Regional Medical Center for treatment.

ARRESTED: Crystal Gayle Klempke, 29 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:


Second degree assault
Reckless endangerment

On November 3, 2009 at approximately 4:52 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Target Department Store on North Salisbury Boulevard for the report of a theft. Upon arrival the officers met with store security who advised that the below listed suspect, an employee, had been observed by security taking U.S. Currency from the cash register while working. The suspect would remove the U.S. Currency from the cash register while making change for customers.

ARRESTED: Jeremiah John Monk, 18 years of age Fruitland, Maryland

Theft scheme (over $ 100)

On November 4, 2009 at approximately 5:05 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a business at the intersection of Rt. 50 and Naylor Street for the report of a burglary. Upon arrival the officers met with a citizen who advised the officers that he had observed the burglary to the business. The citizen advised that he had observed two (2) suspects break into the business, enter the business and then flee from the area on foot. During the course of the investigation it was revealed that it was the citizen that had broken into the business.

ARRESTED: Augustine Junior Cepeda, 45 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

Second degree burglary
Fourth degree burglary
Malicious destruction of property
Attempted theft (under $ 100)
False report
