AFP Rally In Washington & Belair

AFP-Maryland encourages citizens to rally in DC and Bel Air to have voice heard

With health care vote imminent, may be last chance to sway swing votes –

ANNAPOLIS – Speaker Nancy Pelosi has made it clear this week that she would like to have HR 3962, the government health care overhaul, voted on by the House of Representatives on either Friday or Saturday. In response, hundreds of Marylanders headed to a rally at the Capitol today at Noon to have their voices heard. Buses left this morning from Ocean City, Salisbury, Annapolis, Bel Air and Hagerstown.

“We are encouraging our members to get out and tell the government to keep their hands off our health care,” said AFP-Maryland State Director Dave Schwartz. “Speaker Pelosi and the liberals in Congress are taking a huge political risk by bringing this trillion dollar health care bill to a vote. Tuesday’s election results should send a message to all members of the House: if you continue to run up deficits and spend our money recklessly, we will vote you out of office.”

Along with the rally in DC, AFP-Maryland is also encouraging citizens to attend a rally in Bel Air near Rep. Frank Kratovil’s (D-MD01) district office. Kratovil, a Democrat from Maryland’s 1st Congressional district, has not stated his position on the current House bill. Details are below:

What: Rally to stop HR3962

When: TODAY – 4pm

Where: Town of Bel Air – Corner of Churchville Rd. & Main St.

Editors Note: The above images are from today's rally on the Capital.

Nice crowd. Huh, no trash on the ground here, either! Wish I could have made it, but I did make my phone calls, and stopped in to deliver my letter to Frank's Salisbury office today.

Do all you want or can so that your conscience is clear, but these professional congressional crooks will not stop robbing and pillaging until they see their own blood spill on these steps. Their hunger for money and power are FAR to great for any human to contain....

So, there are no minorities in any of these photos, these are people in their 50s and 60s, these are people who can get a day off to go to Washington and protest. These are people who are threatened by a black President who don't want to "give" any of their $$$ to you (anyone other than "them").

Cocktails start at 5!
