To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Billie Reynolds I am the coordinator for this event. I am writing to ask your business to post our benefit posters and for some help with donations via *food, drink, money or* *auction items*, whatever can be given would be greatly appreciated.

In June of last year Mrs. Sally Shipley 39 yrs old at the time and a mother of 4 had a major seizer, something she had never experienced before. Her husband Mark took her to a local hospital and they sent her to John Hopkins. John Hopkins ran lots of expensive tests, only to find lesion on her brain. She underwent brain surgery to remove the lesion. That is when she was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer called Glioblastomas Multiforme. In January she underwent another brain surgery to remove more lesion and scar tissue. This has left her unable to walk without assistants. Sally is currently undergoing chemotherapy and physical therapy treatments on a weekly basis. Because of her condition, treatments, medications and seizers she is unable to work and with one income it has become hard to manage financially. She has insurance but some things are not covered such as full cost of treatments, meds and everyday bills. Last year we raised over $8,000.00, this year we would like to match or surpass this amount to help this person in need. This cancer has taken so much from Sally and her family and we want to help give back something. That is were *we* can help.

*_Powellville VFW_* has kindly agreed to open their business to provide a place to give this benefit to help a friend in need. At the event there will be, a motorcycle scavenger hunt with cash prizes entertainment from local bands and DJ’s, food, stuff for the kids and lots more. We are expecting a turn out of about 500 people. We are also going to post a public thank you to all the business that helped make this benefit a success. So if you could find it in your heart to donate, it would be put to good use and would help this family in need. Monetary donation can be made to *_The Farmers Bank of Williads Sally Shipley Fund._* Thank you for your time and if you want to donate or have any question please give me a call with details at 443-614-7073. Your attendance is more than welcome!

Thank you
