That must have been taped very early in the morning before the thugs and living dead started wandering the area. Maybe one day that area can be just as quiet and peaceful as it is in the video. Until then...get a new chief, motivate, pay, equip and reinforce SPD officers and fill WCDC and ECI to the gills with the scumbags.

What happens to the four officers when the stimulus money runs out?

Hey Mr. Mayor can your good "pals" get us a new chief, cause I tell ya it's only a matter of time till you have another murder on your hands what with all those gunpoint robberies. In case no one told ya, the gas station on E. Main was robbed yesterday at 5 in the afternoon, at gun point. THe poor woman in there is scared half to death, but I am sure you, your good buddies and all can comfort her.

10:36 - As Mayor Ireton said when he announced the funding, he's already working with Council President Smith to make sure the funding is in place to KEEP them after the 3 years the feds pay for them.

His presentation was all about what the state and federal representatives have given or obtained for Salisbury, what exactly has Ireton done besides mug for the cameras?

What has anon 3:59 done except complain?

4:11 I pay taxes. Nuff said?

Not nearly "nuff" said. A little note for you. ALL of the public servants on the Council including the Mayor pay taxes. They do alot more than just "pay taxes". If Jim had not stepped to the plate, won the election, and applied for these grants, there would be no post here, and you would continue to only fondle yourself. Instead, a positive act has taken place, it has been communicated to the masses and you have been given the opportunity to complain. You should be proud of yourself for taking the time to comment with such ignorance. Kudos to you. Now, back too your Vaseline.

Make it a priority to catch the thug that shot at the SPD Officer's car. If you allow this behavior to go unchecked it will result in tradegy by summers end.

Come on Chief flex it if you got it. I for one am pissed by what appears to be such a cavlier approach to one of your getting shot at.

Saturation patrol would be nice call the allied agencies and make street life rough. They will give him up. I am sure the F.O.P. would gladly offer reward money for the arrest and conviction of this loser.

Time to make a statement this behavior will not be tolerated. It is blatent and obvious as to the lack of repect to our societies system of law and oder,

All i can say is wow. If my kid worked for SPD he would be looking else where quick.

Maybe put this on your recruitment flers with that stymulus money. One dollar a pop at our cops.
