INCIDENT: Home Invasion/Attempted Robbery

LOCATION: 3600 Block of Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, Maryland
NARRATIVE: On August 3, 2009 at approximately 0122 hours the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to the above location on Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD for a report of a Home Invasion / Attempted Robbery. Deputies requested WBI respond. Detectives and Deputies learned that the occupants of the above address (an elderly couple- residents- and their three great grandchildren, who were visiting) were home and asleep, when two unknown suspects broke in to the house. The occupants were awoken by the suspects breaking into the house and two of the occupants (the adult resident and his 15 year old great grandson) confronted and struggled with the suspects. The adult resident was struck at least twice in the head with an object picked up by one of the suspects. The suspects then fled on foot, apparently heading south on Snow Hill Road.
No firearm was displayed or used, but one suspect indicated they had a firearm. The suspects demanded money, but nothing appeared to be missing from the house.
The adult resident was taken to PRMC for treatment of the lacerations to his scalp and is expected to recover.
MSP Crime Scene Technicians responded and processed the scene
No suspects have been developed and the investigation is continuing by WBI.

SUSPECTS*: The suspects are described as white males, with black or dark colored hoodies covering their faces, and goatee style beards, approximately 5’6” to 5’8”.

Robbery
1st Degree Burglary
Assault
DISPOSITION: Case Open.

As my father said 12 yrs ago, "You'll see the time you're afraid to stay in your own home!" At that time he was 90 yrs old. The amout of crime is getting out of hand. Thank God these people are still alive to tell about it!

In this being investgated by the Omegaman Bob Wilson. This case will not only be solved it will be closed by a very dapper detective. Go get em dusty.
