Wright's Market Annual Watermelon Festival

Hi Joe,

"I attended the Wright's Market Annual Watermelon Festival in Mardela Springs on Saturday. It was a great event for families and kids of all ages. They had a Little Miss Watermelon Princess pageant, seed spitting contest, and watermelon bowling. The Hebron Fire Dept. was there giving fire truck rides and the Wicomico County Sheriffs Office was there showing children their mobile command unit. Wright's Market donated free watermelon slices and ears of corn. This was such a well put together event! I applaud Wright's Market for their wonderful event and wish we had more things like this in the area to take our families to. While I was there, I stepped into their store and realized how great it was! I hope more people take advantage of this festival next year. It is definitely something I will attend every year. It is great to be able to support our locally owned businesses.

Thanks to Wright's Market for a great day!"

If you swallow the seeds watermelons will grow out of your ears. Did anybody elses parents or grand-parents ever say that to you when you were young? Mine did, I believed it, back then. All we are on our last breath is what we have been. The memories we hold close to our hearts. On the last breath nothing else will matter.
