On July 27, 2009 at approximately 4:16 a.m., Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Dunkin Donuts Restaurant on South Salisbury Boulevard for the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival the officers met with the store manager who advised that a lone suspect had entered the store and produced a handgun. The suspect threatened the manager and a second employee with the handgun then ordered the manager to give the suspect the U.S. currency from the store. The suspect upon receiving the U.S. currency, fled from the store on foot. The suspect is described as:
Black male, approximately 6’00” tall, 110 lbs., wearing a black or navy blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

On July 24, 2009 at approximately 7:34 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Boscov’s Department Store at the Centre at Salisbury for the report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival the officers met with store security who advised that store employees had observed the below listed suspect take jewelry from the store without making payment. The jewelry was recovered and returned to the store.

On July 25, 2009 at approximately 4:51 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police were on routine patrol in the area of Charles and Baker Streets and observed the below listed suspect walking between several residences. The suspect was stopped and was found to be a minor in possession of tobacco. The suspect was arrested, and a search of the suspect incident to arrest revealed a quantity of suspected cocaine.
ARRESTED: Juvenile, 16 years of age

Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute
Possession of cocaine
Possession of CDS/paraphernalia

On July 26, 2009 at approximately 12:46 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding warrant charging the suspect with a theft that occurred on June 19, 2009. On that date the suspect took a vehicle that was the property of a victim known to the suspect, without the permission of the victim.
ARRESTED: Michael Allen Peterson, 39 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle

Damn, Anon 1:20 beat me to it! Ok, maybe the Dunkin Donuts employee isn't very good at describing a person; HOWEVER, the reporting officers should have said "hey, 110 lbs is rather light for a 6' male, perhaps you can compare his size to me or somebody else in this room?" You have to wonder, despite hardly ever receiving the actual press release, how accurate are the details? We will never find this suspect because everybody is on the look out for someone that doesn't exist! Even 6 ft tall runway models weigh more than that!

anonymous 1:43, Webster knows he's not welcome in Salisbury any more. Tilghman and the Daily Times covered up the crime for too many years and this is one major reason the two of them did everything in their powers to stop me and Salisbury News.
You need to call Mayor Ireton and tell him to fulfill his campaign promise and re evaluate ALL department heads. He ran a campaign about crime and now he has to finish what he started.
No petition is necessary. Just let your Mayor know how you feel.
So how many armed robberies is that for the "bury" now this summer. Things never change around here.
