The Pipe Dream Is Almost A Reality

It's almost complete Folks. The 6 foot tall pipe that heads down Waverly Drive will soon open the flood gates to the Wicomico River, passing more floatables for your viewing pleasure. I wonder if there will be a photo op and ribbon cutting ceremony?

What is that project all about? Is it a giant stormdrain?

Make sure you get a picture of Bubba in front of the drain with no filters so we can use it in the next election.

I certainly hope they pave the road per City Resolution No. 1312. Waverly is an absolute mess.

Yes, 8:19 Its supposed to be a 6 foot storm drain, but will not have any type of filtration on it to catch all the crap cpming through it from the streets. All of which will eventually get out into our bay. There goes the neighborhood!

If there is a ribbon cutting ceremony, I'm sure Mayor Ireton will be there.. He never misses having his picture taken! Makes him feel like he's doing something!

Hey where is Judith Stripling and all the other enviro peeps on this?

When the GOVERNMENT pollutes it's ok with them, just let a farmer, landowner, or business make a mistake...

Looks like there is another huge drain pipe visible across the lake from the Deer's Head Center property. At the bottom of a hill, emptying directly into the lake.

I sure wish all these people actually had a small amount of information on this pipe line. Nothing that has been posted about this pipe is even relevant. Opinions are like a**holes everybody has one, some people are one. Come on Joe, lets get some real info about this pipe.
