Now What?

Good Morning AMERICAN CITIZENS,

In Harford County, MD, WE have been very successful in our efforts to reign in government taxation and most importantly spending. Let's pause, take a breath, and review what the TEA PARTIES have recently accomplished for all of us.

#1. WE forced a reduction in the Harford County Property Tax rate. This was a step in the right direction, but our taxes still increased for fiscal year 2010. (The politicians will tell you that they lowered your taxes, but look at your tax bill. It's more than it was last year.)

# 2. WE helped the County Council decide to lower the cap on residential real estate property taxes from 9% to 5%. This means that the taxpayers in Harford County will save more than $850M over the next decade. Tell your friends; but don't ask for recognition. If they want to thank you, tell them to join with US at the next Council rally or Liberty-minded group meeting to continue the battle.

# 3. WE have brought the taxing and spending of elected officials to the forefront of people's minds at the town, state, and national level. We will not stop now.

The biggest accomplishment that WE have achieved, and that which WE are most proud of, is getting people involved in the political process. For too many years citizens have felt helpless against the tax increases and lack of accountability among our representatives. Since early this year concerned citizens have gotten up from their couches and kitchen tables and have shown our ELECTED OFFICIALS that we will no longer sit idly by complaining with empty words while our futures are leveraged and our liberties violated.

As WE develop a plan of action for the future, WE call on all AMERICANS to join us.
Heed the call. It is for you, your children and your grandchildren.

We need people to examine the County budget starting this fall. We need people to assist in planning and doing. We need liberty-minded individuals to run for office and defend the Constitution. Become a part of the process. Earn the right to complain. Remember, talk without action is meaningless. Feel free to email any of US with your thoughts and concerns. However, the best way to get your voice heard and to make a difference is to get involved with one of our local groups.

Some of these groups in Harford County are:

Bel Air Tea Party Coalition
Organizer: Tony Passaro

These same people will be complaining when services are cut.

"These people" are standing up for freedom, 8:19

Maybe you should do the same as you will be the one complaining when the government tells you everything you can or cant do and takes all of the money you work for.

Birthers and Tea Party protests are so associated with the republican party it is going to make them more and more the party of extremists.
