"Oscar Night" Invitation

March 27th, 2009
7pm-12am
Carousel Hotel
117th Street and Ocean
Ocean City, Maryland

Come and see the Carousel Hotel transformed into Bourbon Street, the French Quarter and the Caribbean Carnival. While enjoying a 5-hour Top Shelf open bar, you can take in the delicious "Nawlins" cuisine prepared by the talented professionals from the Delmarva Chefs and Cooks Association.

Music will fill the air with Mary Lou and the Untouchables taking main stage, join in the funeral march with national recording band, Rockin' Jake Blues Band, in our Jazz and Blues' Cafe, No Byscuyts featuring Joe Smooth on Sax and new this year, live steel drum music in our Caribbean Carnival Room.

Try your luck in one of the largest silent auctions on Delmarva. You can bid on many items from fine jewelry, a night on the town, personal chefs to fantastic getaways.

Street entertainers, magicians, tarot card readers, artists and belly dancers will entertain you as you travel through our own streets of "Nawlins".

This year's beneficiary of the Ocean City Mardi Gras Carnival is Women Supporting Women. You can learn more about this fantastic charity here: womensupportingwomen.org. Women Supporting Women is an organization where everyone can work together to provide awareness, education, friendship, and support for breast cancer survivors and their families.

We hope you will join us at the Carousel Hotel in Ocean City, March 27, 2009, at this Black Tie optional event. Come see our version of New Orleans. Dine on sumptuous food prepared by some of Delmarva's finest chefs and indulge in an open bar of the finest wines and spirits. Dance till midnight to the great music of Mary Lou and the Untouchables. There will be live and silent auctions to tempt you and street performers to delight you. Many other surprises are being planned.
