'Happy Feet' at The Mar-Va Theater this Weekend


JANUARY MOVIE SERIES AT THE MAR-VA THEATER IN POCOMOKE

The last two weekends of January will be featuring popular Family Style Classic movies.

January 23rd and 24th at 7:00 pm and Sunday matinee the 25th at 2:00 pm. the presentation will be HAPPY FEET, a rollicking animated film adventure featuring singing and dancing penguins deep in Antarctica.

Admission for this upbeat film will be $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for students under18.


On Friday, January 30th at 7:pm and Saturday, the

31st at 2:00 and 7:00 pm, the ever popular classic, THE WIZARD OF OZ will be shown as part of a membership fundraiser.

There will be NO ADMISSION Charge!

Every patron who purchases a one year Individual Membership in the Mar-Va Theater Performing Arts Center (MTPAC) for $15.00, will receive two FREE tickets for a future show.

Every purchase of a Family Membership in the Mar-Va Theater Performing Arts Center for $25.00 will receive 4 free tickets to future movie performances.

This special promotion is being sponsored by The Downtown Pocomoke Association in cooperation with the Mar-Va's ongoing effort to raise funds to support the effort to provide full time entertainment in Downtown Pocomoke City.

That's what the Greater Salisbury Arts Council does every day, don't they? Why travel 30 miles when we have it all right here? Oh, because they don't do that.
