Cynthia Bratten (Cindy) is a resident of Pittsville and is in need of some help. The benefit is Sept 11, 2008 at 9pm to be held at Station 7 Restaurant in Pittsville.
A DJ is booked for the night, donation buckets will be in place and Todd, (Owner of the Station 7 Restaurant) told me he would be placing buckets out for the month of Sept. The purpose is to raise money to help Cindy purchase a power chair in which her doctor has prescribed her but insurance only covers a portion of the chair and any extra money will be used to cover numerous past due medical bills. Cindy has been disabled since 2002 and been unable to work due to numerous nuero surgeries, her lower back has been fused together by pins and rods along with her cervical spine as well.
If you can help in any way, attending, making donations and or even providing some items for them to raffle off, that would be great. Times are tough for all of us but for most, at least we have our health and we can walk. Think about it. Thanks again to the Wampler Family of Pittsville for opening their place of business for so many good causes.
