Where's The Murderer?

Back in the beginning of August Salisbury News let everyone know a local prostitute had been murdered. I received that very evening the exact information on the suspect who had allegedly been involved in the murder and kept that information to myself.

In fact, because I had received such information and made the proper calls to make sure I didn't do something with this information that would interfere in their investigation, I was confronted by numerous Law Enforcement Agencies because the Chief of the Salisbury Police Department insisted simply because I had this information, I should be arrested and dealt with.

Considering the WISDOM of the other Agencies, they quickly realized I had done absolutely nothing wrong and never released any information Chief Webster hadn't already released to the rest of the Media. So once again, his attempts to get me into more trouble failed.

Nevertheless, I still have all of this information and I challenged Chief Webster a month ago as to why he hasn't informed the Public more details about their #1 Suspect in this case and because he failed to educate the Public, this KILLER is still on the loose. Yeah, you don't see this information making the News Tracker in the Daily Times now, do you?

That's because the Police Chief failed to perhaps do the right think and allow the Citizens to get involved and help track down the car and suspect. In the mean time Webster and the Mayor continue to arrest, (every so often) more prostitutes to make it look like they're doing something about it. However, again, in the mean time, the killer is still on the loose.

This Administration has proven with the rise in serious crime that they are simply winging it while the other example, Sheriff Mike Lewis is using PROACTIVE POLICING and getting unbelievable results. The Salisbury Police Department leadership refuses to truly cooperate with the Sheriff's Department and the State Police, hence their screwed up statistics here in Salisbury.

So once again, there is a KILLER on the loose in Salisbury and the rest of the Press has kept it so quiet everyone has forgotten this as being fact. I demand better results out of the people we pay top dollar to and while taxes go up and salaries went up, what have we received for our money? It's time for Chief Webster to pack his bags and move down to Crisfield for good and let someone more PROACTIVE take over the SPD and actually start protecting the Citizens of Salisbury.

In the mean time, keep your eyes open for that silver sedan and call the Police Chief for more details on the murder. I already have it but I wouldn't want to put myself in a position where I interfere in a COLD CASE MURDER Investigation, if'n you know what I mean?

I recognize that there is a fine line here, Joe. I also know that you have a stronger set of rules to work by than the average bear.
HOWEVER, it seems that Chiefy is MORE concerned with keeping you down than solving this crime. What a sad situation for the citizens of the area who remain in danger because there is a murderer on the loose.
Who cares, as long as Albero is in check. Keep those cameras rolling, Chiefy. THATS what's important.

have they even checked to see if this car has been sold for salvage.

joe please don't think that some of the fine men and women that are working at SPD are not trying to be as proactive as they can with what they have. I know many fine officers that work there, the problem is they respond to too many calls in a work shift to effectively investigate, then the buck gets passed to the detectives. They promised those officers more help and that they would get paid like everyone else that wears a badge and gun. They..council...never made good on that promise. They want the drugs and gangs to be cleaned up from the city but instead of listening to the officers beg n plead for a drug dog...they sweep it under the rug do nothing about getting it and hence a valuable tool to help the drug problem is never aquired. Start giving the officers what they need and deserve

They make changes without even conferring with the people doing the work. You might want to check with them since they are the ones always out there doing it. Cars, equipment uniforms, whatever.

I absolutely 100% agree. The Officers are doing everything they can with what they have. My gripe is on the 3rd floor.

Here's a big part of this issue, the victim was a prostitute. I would bet every penny in my bank account that if it was a member of chiefy's family the killer would have been caught long ago. Sadly, in our society prostitutes are treated as worthless, even by the police that are supposed to protect ALL citizens. I don't condone her choice of profession but regardless she is someones sister, daughter, cousin, or friend.
