Worcester County Sheriff Makes Big Pot Plant Bust in Stockton

Healthy pot plants ready for harvest

On July 22, 2008, the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Enforcement Team, to include the Worcester County States Attorney’s Office conducted a marijuana eradication investigation in the Stockton, Worcester County, Maryland area.


 


This investigation was initiated as a result of aerial observation of several marijuana plants growing in the Stockton area.


 


During the course of this investigation, seventy-nine (79) marijuana plants were recovered and seized within a one mile radius. One healthy and mature marijuana plant can produce up to one pound of material that can be smoked and has an approximate street value of six hundred dollars ($600.00) per pound. ($3,500.00 a pound if they dime it out on Fourth Street in Pocomoke)






During this investigation a suspect has been identified and this investigation is still ongoing.

Lucky for us the troops in Afghanistan are guarding the poppy fields so that the drug war lords can't get the poppies.
