What Do YOU Think This Task Force Will Decide

Do you think they'll recommend privatizing the Dispensary System. Or do you think they'll recommend leaving things the way they were?

After all is said and done, it is YOUR decision.

I HOPE THEY WILL PRIVATIZE IT

As long as Ms. Prettyman is on it, of course they recommend privatizing.

There seems to be a conflict of interest if Super Giant is represented by that gentleman with the bag and Ms. Prettyman. That being said I welcome privatizing
as long as license are controlled
by law. Repeat by law!

They need to privatize and hope they do so.

I think the gentlemen with the Giant bag is Mr. Marion Barkley who is a bus contractor in Wicomico. Not a finer person anywhere than Mr. Barkley

Bubba's Definition of Micro Managing:

n. ... or uh, v. ... or is it adv.?

Whenever Debbie Campbell or Terry Cohen ask questions of the mayor and crew resulting in hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings to the taxpayer, situations ripe for fraud being corrected, or police, firefighters and animals being treated better.

syn. oversight, the process of making sure people do their jobs to the irritation of puppets that can't perform for more than two hours.

Anon 9:08--Love it! You hit the nail right on the head. Now do me a favor? Go to the next Council meeting and hit Gary on the head! On second thought, don't bother. You'd probably be arrested for assault, and it wouldn't even make a dent in him!

To privatise or not to privatise makes little difference, as long as the people running things there are changed. It is time to get new blood on the small board. After years and years, you tend to become complacent in your duties. But, that all said, I do believe we need to get out of the dispensary business once and for all and believe the study Board will also!

Who is the lady in the orange shirt? She looks very familiar?

I don't believe for a minute that privatizing will bring lower prices for cocktails at your favorite bar. I do believe that the Liquor Control Board is withholding financial details that should be made available to the general public. What are they trying to hide?

They can all get nice discounts there if they play their cards right. At one time a former general manager there saw Phil Tilghman in the store and she offered him the employee 25% discount. Wise decision, he declined the offer.

The woman in the orange shirt is A. Kaye Kenney, liquor board member and close friend of Stevie Prettyman and Joe Holloway.
