Incident: Possession of Marijuana
Date of Incident: 30 July 2008
Location: 700 Block of West Road, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Alisha D. Brown, 24, Salisbury, MD

On 30 July 2008 at 8:18 PM a deputy was in the area of West Road in Salisbury when the deputy observed what he believed was a subject in a vehicle attempting to purchase CDS. The deputy stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation and made contact with the operator, Alisha D. Brown of Salisbury. After speaking with Brown, the deputy recovered marijuana from her that she had just recently purchased. Brown was arrested and taken to Central Booking.

After being processed and taken before the District Court Commissioner, Brown was released on her own recognizance.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Incident: Malicious Destruction of Property
Date of Incident: 30 July 2008
Location: Wicomico County Tourism Center, U.S. 13, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: NONE

On 30 July 2008 at 2:00 PM, a deputy from the Sheriff’s Office responded to the Wicomico County Tourism Center for a report that the Welcome sign had been damaged. When the deputy arrived, he discovered that rocks had been thrown through two of the glass advertisement panels on the bottom of the Welcome sign. At this time the case is under investigation and we are seeking information from anyone who might have any information in reference to this crime. In the first incident, I think they arrested the lessor of the two evils. Why wouldn't they go after the dealer first?
