Who Needs You Anyway!

While these two Ocean City Towing Company vehicles were Downtown yesterday, perhaps people are tired of the service they're receiving locally and they're now depending on service from outside the area?

What I can tell you is, when this woman broke down, two gentlemen immediately came to the rescue in what felt like 100 degree heat and helped this woman into a local parking lot some 200 yards from where she broke down.

That's what I'm talking about Folks. I no sooner looked out my side window and these guys were pushing her along almost as fast as they could run. They hit the curve and once they got around the corner, momentum took over and she was able to cruise right into the parking lot.

So here's a hat tip to two fine gentlemen assisting a woman in need!

Ocean City Towing 54th ST Towing/has an business on Parsons Rd So why shouldn't they be in town. I think they may be on all pd's towing lists also

Looks to me like 56th St. towing and I wouldn't want their help anyway - they would just impound your car then the female that works there would steal anything of value from your car. The guy that owns the place isn't much better either. This stranded lady was much better off getting pushed into the parking lot.

Thanks for posting stories about good things and not just the bad ones. It seems there's a chance for the human race after all!

AMEN!! I agree totally!

Signed,
One of the victims whose things were stolen from their car after
56th. Street Towing in Salisbury towed it.

Hey Joe, Good pics of 56th St. trucks. Just a little info for you.
If you or any of your readers sees one of these trucks or one of the rollbacks they have and happen to see a colored woman driving that looks like a man please call your local police agency and report her. She has a suspended license and the owner of the company knows it.

If the wrecker operator in question, or any other for that matter, stops to help her then it's the same as ambulance chasing. If the woman had called a tow truck on her own, and this other towing company shows up and "lends a hand" , then most likely the company she called would get burned and then the customer usually doesnt call to say someone else helped her out, and the company wasted time and effort. It has happened to me a hundred times as a local towing operator. It sucks. So what should they do?

The womans name is Linda. She has no issues with cussing you up and down, telling you how she feels, and stealing from your car. If they ever towed any of your cars you should have a qualified mechanic check to see that no underbody components were damaged due to hook\chain placement. They severely damaged my vehicle, denied it, and quickly cussed me out, telling me I was just a worthless cracker and that I didnt know shit and that she knew where I lived. Her boss, Richard Parsons, still will not acknowledge my phone calls and attempts to make this right. I soon will be forced to take further action. 56th Street Towing has got to be the worst oufit in town.

I keep seeing comments about tow companies not helping out... Here's a question--> If you go into McDonalds and you are hungry, but have no money or don't want to pay, do you expect them to feed you for free?? What about a gas station? Do you expect free gas just because you run out? Im not suggesting that nobody should help their neighbors, but why is it the tow companies that are getting beat up on?? There are tons of starving people out there, but nobody is saying that Burger King should be doing something about it. People go into business to make money, reguardless of what type of company it is, not to give it away.

If someone called their insurance to do the two the insurance deals with whoever they deal with locally. My insurance calls a towing company out of Pocomoke not Salisbury even if I am in Salisbury. It is whoever they have the deal with.
