If you live in Maryland, I’m sure you’ve heard about of the primary challenge against MD01 Congressman Andy Harris by Jorge Delgado.
This relatively young former congressional staffer has based his entire campaign on what he calls a poor voting record by “do-nothing” Harris. Particularly, the vote against H.R. 1327, the so-called 9/11 Victims Compensation fund, is Delgado’s go-to talking point.
In actuality, H.R. 1327 was a sixty year blank check being written to 600,000 people who rented or leased an apartment in lower Manhattan up to one year and three months after 9/11, not anyone who was a first responder or involved with the post-9/11 cleanup effort.
Harris’ vote against that pork barrel drew widespread bipartisan backlash, despite its pork barrel effect and overreaching the authority of congress. Congress already passed a bill for first responders that they review and renew every five years to ensure that the money is going where it is supposed to and being spent properly. H.R. 1327 did not do that.

I think he is a plant by the Democrat Party. How the Hell did he get put on the Worcester County Republican Central Committee when he didn't even run for this position in 2018. There were 12 candidates that ran and he wasn't one of them. There were 9 elected out of those 12 but JORGE or whatever he goes by wasn't one of them. This doesn't pass the smell test and if I was Andy Harris I would be very pi$$ed with our Republican Central Committee members. They were elected to put Republicans in office, not Democrats. Someone needs to take a big look at the Worcester County Republican Central Committee and the Wicomico County Central Committee. They helped put Jake Day in office and now this damn Democrat! JORGE or whatever they call him isn't even from Worcester County and they put him on the Central Committee. They should have picked one of the 3 other candidates to replace a vacancy, not this Progressive Democrat clown!
Never heard of this character, and have no interest in having anyone beside Dr. Harris represent me/us in D.C.
If this guy is so eager to serve why doesn't he mount a challenge to one of the SocialistDemocrats on the western shore?
The article sheds genuine light on his motivations by delving into his funding sources. You may be assured similar benefactors are behind whomever ends up on the SocialistDemocrat slate.

This guy is a Jack A$$ and so is his stupid wife who attempts to defend him on Facebook. He also has "family members" defending their out of state donations to his campaign. I wonder if they are even related to him.
No candidate should be taking donations from out of state donors, but this Tool is desperate to become a "Congressman." What a freaking Douche Bag!

I think you are 100% correct. This is the best way to steal an election from the Democrats and that is to put a democrat plant in the race. This is a District that is made for the Republicans by design and the Dems have to put a fake Republican in the race. Don't be fooled people, don't be fooled!

This is definitely a great article that is exposing the Dem plant in this race.
If this guy wasn't one of the 12 candidates to win one of the 9 seats on the Republican Central Committee in Worcester County then how the HELL did he get on the Central Committee? Something really stinks here. Why isn't the Maryland GOP investigating this?

I could not be more honored and humbled to have the endorsement of the Professional Fire Fighters of Maryland. I am constantly in awe of the selflessness displayed day in and day out by our first responders. These men and women put their lives on the line every day in service to their communities, and earning their support means a lot to me, personally. I pledge that when elected to Congress, these men and women will finally have a friend in Maryland’s 1st Congressional District, an open door, and a seat at the table. That is a good question. He wasn't on my ballot and didn't get my vote. Those Worcester County Central Committee members are not doing their job by appointing an outsider who wasn't even a candidate and then allowing him to run against a good incumbent. Some red flags need to be popping up all over Worcester County and the Maryland Republican Party.
