It's about damn time. Weston is a better fit for the County anyway. Just my own personal opinion.
Wayne got what he wanted. Taxpayers stuck with paying his retirement and medical for life.

The county doesn’t pay post employment retirement. The employees pay it through payroll deduction while they are working. Big misconception.

I also wonder why Bob waited so long. He knew going into the Co. Executive job that he was a holdover from the Pollitt era. He's been divisive, a hot head, and is also syncophant. Which makes me now question Bob's judgement.
Hope Bob doesn't compound the County's six year loss by filling that position with a young neophyte lacking real life experience. What is it with these public service hires that experience is ignored?

He is the highest paid in the county except circuit court judges and the S/A. And I agree Weston would be a good fit. He has been doing SNOBSBURG job since he was appointed.This is great early spring news. I just hope Hawknose Hollo and Cannonslum get off their a$$ and appoint him when Bob tosses in his name.Watching the council meetings as of late reminds me of the old Hee Haw show with Hawknose Hollo as JR Sample and Cannon as Buck Owens.
