Bring home some toilet Paper
The REAL issue is the Welfare crowd cleaning out the stores at $500:a pop next will be mass theft at Walmart.
They need to limit Ebt food to $50 a day.
Or a $100 a week.

Should have been there last night when it was being cleaned out by the panic driven shoppers. Don't worry, Sam's isn't out of anything. The shelves just haven't been restocked yet.
If this is so bad, then why has Pelosi and the Democrats not produced / passed a clean BILL that is only for this virus? They are adding things to their proposal that is not directly related. Appears they want their agenda more than they want to assist public health. People have gone nuts over a non-issue. This blitz of news is a political stunt by Politians and Chinese / North Korea going through with their threat of a "Christmas present " for the US. This has never happen before when other virus / illnesses have taken place and thousands have died. Why are the Democrats not attempting to force the pharmaceutical companies and the FDA to manufacture our drugs in the US and approval time lessen like in other Countries?
It's amazing at how something like this can bring people back to a more Primal State.
My wife said that in all her years she never had a day where people were so rude and outright mean to people working in these stores.
Sam's was completely out of many items and people were cussing at the workers for the empty shelves. Those workers have all been running ragged trying to meet demand but at some point when the stock runs out there is nothing else you can do.
They want to sell you their items. They are a business but if they don't have it then they can't sell it.
The person who posted that Sams has not run out they just haven't restocked is full of crap. They would much prefer to have stocked shelves selling their wares instead of being cussed at by rednecks who are in an absolute panic over what is for the most part a pretty mild virus.

I was in Sam's yesterday. There was no toilet paper, no paper towels, no clorox wipes. I have never seen shelves so empty in Sam's, amazing what media can cause.
There are in fact lots of toilet paper and towels in Dollar generals. Along with their generic wipes.

Why are they buying bottled water? Do they have no running water at home?
I ordered hand sanitizer from Amazon weeks ago and they said it wouldn't be in till first/second week in March, got a notice from them yesterday that said they were cancelling my order and I could keep trying but they didn't know when it would be restocked.

You just admitted you were no different than the rest, however, you were too late getting there. Snooze, you lose. Maybe you'll learn something about always being prepared and not waiting until a crisis is in full bloom before you act. But then again, I doubt you'll learn anything, based on your comment. BTW, why WERE you at Sam's? That's right, because you were unprepared like the rest. As far as your lack of business acumen, they sold out of their stock. All of it. That's as good as it gets. Some does. Has to have at least 60% alcohol to kill the virus. Same goes for hand sanitizer.
Last week I told my parents to go get TP. They didn't. I went last friday and grabbed some.
The panic had already started on the west coast and had not reached here yet.
They owe me an apology for not listening.
Last evening after the news reported wide spread panic and shortages I went out and grabbed a few things. Walmart South was already ravaged. Acme was still was in good shape.
It was interesting to see people with their piled high carts.
All you need is pasta and rice. We can live without meat for a couple of weeks and survive.

Costco and BJs set a limit on what you could buy - don't know about Sam's. I believe the panic is due to the internet - Facebook etc; election year; and the hate for Trump.
It's crowd mentality. People buy what they see others buying. This has nothing to do with bowel movements.

many many years (1970) ago while in premed school, the researchers there were fascinated studying rats. I remember one of the researchers telling me only to animals will kill it's own brother over three things. food, sex, and living space. A rat and a man! they would take the rats and stress them out and watch them turn on each other!
You ain't seen nothing yet. how the hell would people react if the disease had a 50% fatality rate like ebola? Some days I wonder if the human race is really worth saving. There are just to many ignorant stupid whacked out people in this world.

I have everything delivered to me for a very small fee with a 30 minute window so I'm never waiting very long.My orders are always 100% complete when they arrive.
If anything, this "crisis" should shed light on our vulnerability. The dependency on foreign production of critical items is a threat to the health and national security of our nation. President Trump is trying to entice companies to repatriate manufacturing which can not only bring back decent jobs but also secure critical supplies for our population.

Lol wow you are so off base from your assumptions. Nope I wasn't at Sams because I was unprepared. No I wasn't standing around in an empty store because everyone else beat me to the Toilet Paper. My wife works at Sams and was giving me first hand accounts of what was going on.
Besides what is there to prepare for ? It's not like we are going to lose power and run out of water. People have the mindset like this is some sort of storm headed our way.
Yes minimize contact for the sake of the older people but no need to get hysterical.
Over all Sam's has done a good job trying to keep up with demands but when they run out of something there is no need to cuss out the employees.

That's true. It did feel like a blizzard had been forecast and everyone rushed out to stock up because they wouldn't be able to get out for a while.
Well water (that's not contaminated)is good to drink because you get minerals from it.
I have Fruitland water which is great. Sorry for Salisbury residents which I've heard the water sucks.
