Despite what is being circulated on social media, the Town of Ocean City is not a topless beach and will not become a topless beach. The intent of the policy that is being reported on was strictly for our Beach Patrol employees. We want our lifeguards to have their eyes on the ocean, as the safety of our swimmers is their first priority. Our police department, on the other hand, will respond to calls from the Beach Patrol and complaints from our beach patrons, should any activity of toplessness occur. We have received dozens of phone calls, read thousands of comments and answered numerous emails from our residents and visitors expressing their concerns. We assure you we share those concerns and intend to do whatever is necessary to prevent this from happening on our beach, or in any public area in Ocean City.

Looks like a Supreme Court Case or men cannot go shirtless. Is transgender a man or woman in this discussion. All the women have to do is claim transgender and really complicate legal matters.

Key West may not have many beaches, but the women on the large boats which drive slowly past sunset pier - are NOT anything like Rosie! WOW OH WOW and worth the trip!
Then again, 4th of July in the OC bay provides some wonderful sights too!!!!!!!! Worth a day of "fishin" in the bay!
They are trying to figure out how to tax it. Selling topless permits, etc.
Like "legalizing marihoochee, they couldn't just let everybody grow their own, they had to make it a taxable business.
It's a difficult problem for them, simple to us, but they will solve it in 10 years with selling tickets to a section of beach or something like that.

Lip service. Very carefully worded. No article I have read says the town will arrest topless women or states exactly what the consequences will be. Only that OCBP will call LEO to handle. So unless OCBP can detain, the women will disappear into the crowd or cover up before LEO gets there. Town needs to grow some and issue an ordinance explicitly prohibiting it until the AG makes a ruling. Is this really where our officers need to be this summer? (FWIW, I have no issue with toplessness...my issue is with no legal protection from exploitation of these women/girls.)
Key West allows women to go topless if nipples covered with pasties or paint. You have obviously never been to Fantasy Fest in KW. Google it. No beaches in KW? Hmmm. Maybe it is you who should go to key west and see...I go to key west at least three times a year...besides fantasy fest and one roof top bar there is no nudity in public. Fantasy fest now has specific areas for that. There is no nudity in public...I'll be there in another week with my family and kids as for the most part it is a family town....
Actually key west doesn't have any natural beaches...all man made...and none of them have won awards for best beach....I live in Florida on The gulf coast and our beaches are rated some of the finest in the world. Women don't walk around key west topless..fantasy fest is the only time and it's been scaled back in a big way...maybe go to key west and you will see...yes there are plenty of places in Florida to go topless....and nobody cares...

You live in a 55 plus community that as a younger person I CANNOT purchase a home in. This is completely age discriminatory but YOU condone it.
