Love the girl to death, but this is nothing but political grand standing by Jake Day!

Look at all those paid firemen there. Where are the paid police officers on duty? Where weren't they there holding hands?

Jake Day made the paid firemen attend so he could have a little crowd for his photo op!

How come the positive comments for this picture aren't being posted? I commented earlier how beautiful this was.

Because it's political grandstanding by Fake Day, that's why.

12:19 PM Probably because positive is not a priority. Read the first three if in doubt.

11:02 AM, 11:14 AM, and 11:15 AM No doubt what you say is true because you'll read no street talk or gossip or the making of a smear campaign on here - in your dreams

Really people you have the gall to get on here to be negative about things are Not reinvent to a beautiful little girls life. Grow up! This was about a little girl who lost her life to cancer and the fact she has two parents who are trying to deal with her being gone. No wonder our country is like it is. You all focus on the ugly instead of focusing on the good what these people took their time out to mourn a child's life.Shame on you! This could have been your daughter or son. LEAVE POLITICS OUT OF THIS!!!!

Monday night there was a beautiful moment of silence at the Shorebirds' game, complete with a video display of both pictures of Brooke and a lit candle as we thought of the life that was lost. It was a beautiful gesture without any motive, except to honor a life lived. Although I do appreciate there was no grandstanding, I wish the Shorebirds would be acknowledged for the moment they provided those in attendance to quietly honor Brooke.
