Some evangelical Christian leaders are breaking away from national security-minded Republicans who want to stop the entry of any Syrian refugees.
For evangelicals, particularly those organizations approved by the State Department to resettle refugees, there is no choice but to welcome those fleeing war-torn Syria, Matthew Soerens of Church Mobilization for World Relief tells NPR.
"Jesus himself was a refugee," Soerens tells the outlet. His group is an offshoot of the National Association of Evangelicals and one of nine groups approved to help in the resettlement that stirred up opposition among many Republican governors, lawmakers and GOP presidential candidates.

I love how EVERYONE seems to know about Jesus when it's convenient. These have been no more but a political wing like the unions. Some organizations will bite their nose despite their face.
and they dont believe in Jesus
follow the money
Nothing in the Bible tells us to take refugees
Religion, any and all religion, was conceived and implemented by man to control and deceive. To listen to or place any credence into the will or discourse of religious leaders is no different then listening to and believing the lies of a known prevaricator. Hopefully some of our country's leaders have learned this lesson too.
Here you go, here it is right here. It's all about the almighty dollar. Approval "by the State Department to "resettle" refugees means nothing more than dollar signs to these fake Evangelicals.
The big question is where are all the big mouths who can't wait to run their mouths over separation of church and state. Typical liberals, lying hypocrites who swallow the propaganda rammed down their putrid foul throats by the shovelfuls are silent on this. If the feds were giving money to Catholic/Christian schools the moronic democrats sheep (sorry sheep) would be screaming from the rooftops.
There is a special place in hell awaiting each and every single democrat. God hates hypocrites.

Jesus does a great job on my law. I believe.
There is definitely a issue here. The Obama administration uses taxpayers money to pay these groups plus Catholic Charities to place these people in communities. They pay for free housing, food, health care, etc. These religious groups then become contractors for the government. Where is the "Separation of Church and State" on this issue. This set up is UNCONSTITUTIONAL!
The refugee discussion is constantly mis-represented as mostly innocent women and children fleeing violence.
If that was all it was, we would surely be morally-obligated to bring some of them in.
But this is a muslim invasion that includes imbedded terrorists intent on destroying our country and taking it over.
Even in Bible times they didn't open the gates to the enemy. In many cases God empowered them to destroy those enemies that came against them.
These muslims use women and children as shields. In addition, both women and children some as young as twelve have been taught to fight. Don't forget, it was a woman that tried to lure police into the building she was in to kill them with her bomb vest.
Bottom line is: They can't be trusted.
