2015 Black Friday Freshness Report: Retailers Repeat About 1 in 10 Deals from 2014

Every year, retailers hurry consumers to take advantage of their once-in-a-lifetime Black Friday deals. Those special sales won’t be back a second time, they warn. Although that’s certainly true in some cases, it could also be nothing more than an empty threat.

But two can play that game. With all the hype around Black Friday, consumers expect retailers to wow them with new and better deals when the event rolls around again. On the most recent holiday shopping surveyfrom BestBlackFriday.com, 81 percent of respondents said that “Black Friday deals are not improving from previous years.”
