I was pretty upset because as all of you know, WMDT has probably the least amount of traffic and in my opinion it is more important that EVERYONE receive any and all public notices.
Nevertheless, I want Jim and Barbara to see a SAMPLE of just how well Salisbury News works. The other day we published this missing person. It received, (ON SBYNEWS.COM ALONE) almost 76,000 views. It was also SHARED almost 600 times.
Now, I challenge ANY of you, WBOC, WMDT and the Daily Times to show us ANYTHING close to what we deliver. I want our elected officials and our viewers to see for themselves just how effective we are.
Come on now, this wasn't even a child or a popular person. STOP playing politics and accept the FACT that Salisbury News is by far the #1 source for local news and information on the entire Eastern Shore. If ANY of them actually cared about this community they'd put their differences aside for the good of the community.
There's no trickery or lies here, just documented facts. If ANY of you had wondered WHY I have an issue with certain elected officials and department heads, now you know why.

Joe I agree that personal agendas should not get in the way of events of this nature. Your site and any other blog should be treated as equals to these local ass half rate television stations. Because your right most people hit your site and other blogs to see local events and it should capitalized on when needed.
Joe, some people can't handle the truth. It is easier to discredit the person than admit they are right. This is particularly true in local politics. Your blog gets a little heated sometimes and I know you realize that, but the service that it provides far outweighs the negative. I know you have made an effort to keep the comments more on point and I appreciate that.

Really what do you really want ?? Come on Man you pissed on a lot of people at times and now in life you have to pay for that. Is it fair..no but it is life and everyone has to pay for what they have done to those above and that is what it is. I am not saying it is right or wrong. But do to this is only going to piss them off more and put u on a deeper crap list and get you nowhere. Take you blog and cult of followers and those who place paid ad's here and be happy and stop trying to get something from nobody and leave them alone in their misery and move on and keep doing what you do. As you know we don't see eye to eye on a issue and wish you would be more open minded on both ends of the issue. But again I can't make you change your views no more than you can make those who you are chasing to look your way and slap you on the back to change either. To have others be open minded and respect you. You have to do the same in return.

You see, no matter who it is that I go after, ultimately THEY are GONE and I am still around.
Because of the POWER of Salisbury News and our incredible following, candidates are getting elected because the PUBLIC is only educated about their PLATFORMS here.
Because the PUBLIC is informed with DOCUMENTED information, (just like the image in this Post) Jim Ireton will not see the light of day in the next election or any other election. Barbara Duncan will hopefully and finally grow a pair in the best interest of the CITIZENS.
For me personally, I don't give a crap what the two of them think about me personally. However, now they will have to tell the VOTERS why they chose to NOT publicize their MISSING CHILDREN to the most popular Website on the Eastern Shore while they are BEGGING for their vote.
People are getting smarter and just in case you hadn't noticed from the last election, Ireton, Day and Duncan have a LOT to worry about when it comes to Salisbury News.

My point when I sent this to Joe was to show how effective social media can be with this type of situation. Many times the police do not put it on Facebook or even Twitter. If someone is missing or is wanted post it on social media and allow the public to help you find what you are looking for.
Joe you know you and I have really mixed opinions on some of the points. I will say you do get it out there. There is such morale issues in the city right now they both should just step down. Things are about to get interesting around here trust me. I have never seen it like this before. People are sick of the lies and self serving politicians. I smell change in the air and it aint that water treatment plant this time.

I'm a grown man but wanted to cry like a baby when Debbie Campbell lost to Jake Day. That boy is about the people behind him. His true self came out a few times on camera. Campbell was about doing the right thing.
Then when Terry Cohen left, same thing. I knew her from as long back as high school years. Now there was a girl who could have been anywhere doing anything, but she chose to come back to Salisbury and try to make it better. Ireton should have been kicked out just on how he treated her and Campbell.
All that's to say again, I hope you are a right. Can't say that I am optimistic, though. Salisbury is too infested with the young materialistic crowd who think if they drink with the mayor and have a bike lane, life is cool.

Crime in the city has gotten much worse although duncan would have you believe differently because they only put out press releases on a small fraction of robberies and burglaries, while recoding many others as lesser crimes in ucr.
4:26 Duncan and her Command Staff need to be investigated. It is a fact they hide crime in the city. They have been padding the U.C.R. for over two years. I have heard it will all be exposed in the near future. It starts at the top. They have been ducking crime stats by passing the buck. If all the crimes that are reported daily just in the schools located in the city their numbers would double. The Sheriff's Office eats those numbers. Something stinks.
Time for the truth to come out. There are specialized units in the county that also eat city stats.
Jimmy you bull crap will not flush. Stop patting yourself on the back and admit your city is in trouble. Your strategic plan to play with the numbers is deceiving and extremely dangerous to the citizens of this city. Clean up or get out.
