A state trooper remains in serious condition at Shock Trauma, after she was hit by a car this morning as she was assisting another trooper at a traffic stop.
The incident took place at around 1 a.m. on eastbound Route 100, near Catherine Avenue in Anne Arundel County.
Trooper Jacqueline Kline responded to help a K-9 trooper who had stopped a suspected drunk driver on Route 100, when she was struck by the car driving by 21-year-old Enrique Guzman Jr., of Pasadena.

AND, as dangerous as it is to be out on foot in the lanes of traffic, they continue to jump out in front of speeding vehicles on their way to Ocean City!
I know somebodies insurance rates are about to escalate.
Prayers for her, her family and fellow officers.
being smart is not a job requirement for being a cop. you just have to enjoy pushing people around, driving too fast, and wearing flashy clothes.
wow bring on charges for HER.
she is responsible for the accident.
Joe - you have some real morons who post on here. Glad there are some intelligent comments from time to time - but when it comes to fire or law enforcement - out come the uneducated and uninformed. SMH
Prayers going out to the Trooper who is Shock Trauma.
what an ungreatful community the State of MD is. Thanks Trooper for risking your neck for the safety of total strangers.
While I hope for a speedy recovery for the Trooper, let's realize that pedestrians think that drivers can see them in the dark when they can't. Certainly not with the current uniforms of the MSP. Heck, the marked cars are nearly invisible when stopped in broad daylight. Couple that with the second driver looking at the flashing lights and other activities, and you have a recipe for disaster.
She was backing up another trooper on a traffic stop u freaking idiot!!!!!!! She was hit from behind as she walked up on the shoulder not the lanes of travel.
Charge you for being a complete retard!!!!! She had no fault of any kind in this accident. She was the victim. You need to go stand in traffic and get yourself run over for being a retard.
GROW UP 4:34 and 6:08!!, they are ENFORCERS, not protectors. their job is to FORCE us to obey the elected slime that rules america, the elected slime that feels it is above the endless laws and suffocating bureaucracy created to oppress us and limit our freedom, the elected slime that lives like royalty with the money it steal's from us with those crippling and evergrowing taxes. get your head out of your sugarcoated liberal ass and you might see the light for a change.
God bless her and her state police family. Prayers for a 100 % recovery.

I am so glad you INFORMED AND EDUCATED US.
Name callers like you just strengthen the TRUE beliefs about cops.
Just because you don't like it and deny them does not make them true.
People like you just think PROVEN STORIES and just made up out of thin air right? There are THOUSANDS of videos, court decisions, articles, etc. backing up what most state on here.
People are wising up to the Marxist strategies of not only police but obammy as well.
Deny, ridicule, oppress, punish.
This goes beyond a state trooper being hit by a car. Sorry for her family, but as many cops now are killing unarmed people you want us to feel overly bad?
You do it for us ok? Maybe it has to do with karma.

The driver of the car is identified as 21-year-old E G of Pasadena. He passed a sobriety test and hasn't been charged.
Is the cop was hit on the shoulder, why wouldn't they have charged this guy? Why wasn't this guy an the lane AWAY from the cop cars? Or maybe he was since he wasn't charged. I was not there so I do not know. Need a few more details than what is provided.
But I'm quite sure if the driver did anything wrong he most definitely would have been charged. Especially in the state of Md. If the cop did anything wrong, we probably won't hear about that either.
Hope her recoup time is quick for her family's sake.

Where is the "Like" button?
12:31-You've got me thinking.A whole lot of insurance companies that provide health insurance also provide auto insurance. If the health insurance premiums rise won't that cause the other to go up as well?
Oh yeah now we got to hear how the msp is all about protecting us from those mean ol drivers. Let's face it, you got to be a moron or someone with a napoleon complex to want to be a cop. Just do what you're told don't think and treat everyone as a potential threat to you. Now go out and make a lot of revenue for the state. I'm sick and tired of hearing what a great f*^King job you all do for us. Cause you don't! Shame she got hit but then again why would anyone with an IQ above room temperature want to be a cop in todays environment?
