Retired Johns Hopkins surgeon Ben Carson has been hired to be a contributor at Fox News.
Roger Ailes, the chairman and CEO of the network, made the announcement on Wednesday in a news release on the network’s website.
Carson, who retired from Johns Hopkins in June, will provide analysis and commentary across Fox News Channel’s daytime and primetime programming. The network says Carson will make his debut in the new role on “The Kelly File” Wednesday night.

smarts and common sense all rolled into one...
If only we had someone like him as our President. I was listening to him speak the other evening on Fox News and he speaks with so much intelligence vs. the ah ah ah ah ah ah from the mouth of Obama!
No teleprompter needed for Dr. Carson.
Carson for President!
He just needs some Harry Reid coaching and he'll be able to steal and lie with the best of them!
I will never turn off the news..Love Ben Carson!
Nice choice. And, 626, that would never happen. Obviously, you have no recognition of "Moral character". Sorry for your loss.
Dr. Carson is the real deal. A man of genuine, world wide recognition.
Check out his speech, without having to use a teleprompter, with Obama in attendance. Compare that to the weak tea the teleprompter reader continuously spews at us. No comparison!
The Doc Rocks!!
Yes, The Doc rocks....Dr. Ben Carson is a truly intelligent man. More importantly he is a thoughtful and logical man.
Mr. Bowmaster, I agree...so what's he doing on Fox News?!?
