State Officials: Seas Will Rise

EASTON — Whether you believe in global warming or not, the state of Maryland does.

That is the message the Maryland Secretary of Planning and the Maryland Secretary of the Environment brought to those attending the Eastern Shore Land Conservancy’s 14th annual Planning Conference on Thursday, Oct. 3.

Secretary of Planning Richard Hall and Secretary of the Environment Dr. Robert Summers spoke at the conference’s closing talks.

97% of what scientists? Didn't this site recently post some research that could not establish a relationship between sea level rise (or fall) and climate change?

Nothing but leftist propaganda to impose New taxes and New regulations on the citizens. if they didn't scare up this phony climate change hoax they wouldn't have taxpayer funded jobs.

SBY is saturated with environmentalists, all waiting for a global warming post to appear, all armed only with their computers. All ready at any moment to spring into action & launch a rebuttal against anyone who dare mentions GW.How does it feel to be dead wrong?

According to these "scientists", Maryland and the eastern shore area is the only place in the world this is going to happen! Really.

Have y'all heard of science? Its crazy. Science is why you are using a computer. Don't discredit it.

15,000 years ago the shoreline was 50 miles east of Ocean City.

We have only been burning fossil fuels in quantity for 150 years.

Anyone that believes sea level rise is caused by humans burning fossil fuels is a total and complete idiot.
Sure there is global warming. AND cooling. Always has been and always will be.
The seas rose more when man was not as prevalent than when man was.

Fools.

It's good to hear from such a learned panel of experts-thanks, Joe!

They would be much more successful if they called it climate change instead of global warming. Do we have an impact on the climate, sure, no way we can exist and not affect it. My question of tides rising because polar caps are melting. It is not possible, there is a finite amount of water on Earth. Simple test, fill a glass with ice, then add water. Set it on a counter and tell me how much spills out. I'll give you a hint, zero.
