PROGRESSIVE MEDIA RUN WITH TWO FAKE ANTI-ROMNEY STORIES

Twice this week, progressive media outlets have embarrassed themselves by jumping on stories that looked like promising anti-Republican material only to discover hours later they'd been fooled. In one case, the mistake was a piece of satire, the other a joke mistaken for a serious comment.

Tuesday morning Politico's Roger Simon posted an article   which was clearly not meant to be taken seriously. The thrust of the piece was that Paul Ryan had become unhinged and was "marching around his campaign bus, saying things like, 'If Stench calls, take a message' and 'Tell Stench I’m having finger sandwiches with Peggy Noonan and will text him later.'" Stench was supposedly Ryan's new nickname for Mitt Romney.

Seems to me "conservative media" has been doing the same since 2008, except they never seem to retract the story.

Stop calling it the progressive media!
It's the government media. Remember, government schools? let's call it like it is, not what they want to call it.

No way CNN and ABC and CBS and MSNBC they all tell the truth I watch them every day and they do not lie. I know why you do not like them...b/c they are black!

@6:18 - wake up and smell what you are shoveling. don't you think that it's a little strange that, since you watch all of them, that "CNN and ABC and CBS and MSNBC" all tell the same stories using the same verbage and same phrasinsg? that's because they all get their scripts from the same government official.

6:18 i think you're playing devils advocate here. you don't really do this. i don't care if they are purple; if they tout the government line then it's the government media, period.

truth - what a concept
