CASH GRAB

A few lucky OceanCity ATM users might have gotten something hard to come by these days – more money than they asked for.

Last week, Ocean City Today was tipped that for a brief period last Thursday evening, the Bank of America ATM at the Boardwalk’s south-end tram terminal was dispensing twice the amount of cash that users requested.

According to a witness who wishes to remain anonymous to protect his cash windfall, he received a text message from a friend around 7 p.m. that evening, telling him to come to the ATM because it was giving out extra money.

That's what's wrong with society. I guess no one had the honesty or integrity to tell anyone. Especially the foreign students. Sheesh!

Who cares if there were some foreign students, I don't see any Americans stepping forward. Wrong is wrong, no matter how you look at it. The person that went after his friend called should be ashamed of themselves. How do we teach our children to be honest when there are so many dishonest adults? What goes around, comes around!!!!

What the heck is this supposed to mean?

If that ever happened to me, I would go the bank and give the money back and inform them of the glitch. I guess nobody else out there would have thought of that, though. What a shame....

i dont know why the person requested to remain anonymous.he must have the same iq as obama.the bank wouldve caught onto this to begin with and looked into it.when you withdraw money it shows in their system where it came from and how much.when they go back theyre going to see who took money out; especially if they did it several times.then theyre going to make you give it back and you could possibly be charged with theft and im sure some of the people doing this will be lucky enough to recieve a felony theft.

The person who went and got money after their friend called should have never gone and gotten money too. I would have turned in the money at the bank if the mistake happened to me.
We know what the people who are laughing about this would have done.
