Republicans Are Losing The Obamacare Debate

Despite basing their entire political strategy for the last three years on running against Obamacare – a new survey by the Kaiser Family Foundation shows more Americans trust President Obama than Republicans to handle health reform. Of those polled, 58% said they trust President Obama to make the right decision about health reform in the future – while his Republican rivals for President only received between 33 and 43% support. The survey also showed that most Americans agree with Democrats on preserving Medicare as it is and making contraceptives available to all women, regardless of where they work.

The fact is the health care system needs reform.
The fact is Obamacare was a slapped together, not thought out plan, much of which has nothing to do with healthcare at all.

When physicians leave school, the med school says-pay us off.
When physicians become affiliated with a hospital, the hospital says-make us money.

The drug industry says, prescribe our meds and we will reward you.

It's become a cycle of unneccessary procedures and operations, diagonostics, over prescribing of medicines all to the detriment of the insurance companies and the government/tax payers who are picking up the tab.

All the candidates know repeal is pure campaign rhetoric. It is here to stay.

10:28 You put out a perfect argument for a single payer system.

Not at all single payer system 10:35. More of a system where private insurers wouldn't be condemmed for scrutinizing payouts.

A system where insurance companies aren't critcised for failing to insure one with a pre existing illness. That's no different than buying a car warranty after your motor blows up.

The only reason they tend to believe Obama make the right decisions on healtcare is they can't or won't take the time to sift through the crap he keeps feeding them. Most people see socialism as good until the money runs out to support it. Eventually he will tax until there is no money left.

That survey is BOGUS!

The way the question was asked resulted in those numbers.
A recent survey asking a simple question of "Do you think Obamacare should be repealed"
Over 2/3 said yes.

This is just a survey probably of democrats. The real truth be known it would probably say 80% against Obamacare and 20% for Obamacare.

If you ask "do you want to repeal Obamacare" they say yes. If you ask about specifics things that are in the bill the answer is no leave that in, no leave that in, etc

we need health care reform, but not obama's version. we don't need nancy's version either. this is we won't know whats in it until it's passed. i still can't get over that ignorant statement.

there are very few good points in this bill. the rest is over-reaching and unconstitutional. if we only really knew all of it i'm sure we would reject the entire bill.
