ANNAPOLIS (March 9, 2012) – Maryland Democratic Party Chair Yvette Lewis released the following statement on the February jobs report showing that the economy added 227,000 jobs.
"February was the 24th consecutive month of private sector job growth, with American businesses creating 233,000 jobs. This is a dramatic turnaround from 3 years ago when we lost 800,000 jobs the month the President was sworn in."
"The aggressive actions the President has taken has put Americans back to work and moved this country in the right direction. Under President Obama's leadership we've added 3.9 million private sector jobs, manufacturing has had 10 consecutive quarters of growth, and GM led the world in auto sales and posted its largest profit ever."
"President Obama is fighting for an economy built on American energy and education, where everybody has a fair shot and does their fair share. Mitt Romney and the Republicans in Congress want to go back to the very same policies that got us into this mess. That is the last thing the country can afford to do."

There's another liberal Democrat blaming the previous administration. Does it ever stop? And how do you come up with a name like Yvette. Is that sort of like a Corvette or a Chevette or like one of Obama's new Chevy Fishtanks that run on algae.

"Counting only those Americans who are actively looking for work, the jobless rate is 8.3 percent, just like it was in January. But counting those who stopped looking for work within the last year, the rate is 9.8 percent.
And counting all of the above, plus those who settled for part-time jobs, the rate is 14.9 percent."
Another clueless liberal democrat. All they do is lie. Well look around you and the truth can be seen. Take a ride through some of the industrial areas of Salisbury and feel the loneliness.
It's almost laughable that this girl could even tell such a blatant lie.
America - WAKE UP! Think for yourself. Do you really believe this hog wash. Remember - once the unemployed fall out of the system and exhaust their benefits - they automatically index the unemployed accounting downward.
Now - if they are telling the truth - then they ought to document and publish ever one of these jobs.
SBYnews has already published the ones lost - by listing each business. So in all fairness - it is only logical that they list each new generated job.
The 233,000 new jobs were the illegals they hired to shovel snow the 1 day it snowed this year.

In your pursuit of knowledge, check out the Wall Street Journal or last week’s Fox Business report on corporate cash reserves. Companies are sitting on the largest cash reserves in American history and they can’t hire people like my well-educated family members? I’m sure Mrs. Lewis is a respectable woman and at least as far as jobs go, I hope she keeps the good news coming.
