NARRATIVE: On December 22, 2011, a Trooper from the Maryland State Police – Berlin Barrack took an initial report of a Theft from a residence in the 12000 Block of Salisbury Road, Ocean City, Worcester County, Maryland. During the initial investigation, it was found that someone had taken $5,000 cash from the residence between December 16, 2011 and December 21, 2011.
As a result the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation was contacted and asked to take the lead and continue the investigation. Through investigation it was found that an employee of a local HVAC company had been in the residence to do work during that timeframe. The employee was identified as LUPO.
During an interview with LUPO after being advised of his Miranda Rights he ultimately gave a full confession. He has been charged with the above crime and was transported to a District Court Commissioner after his arrest. Final disposition of this case is pending through the Maryland Court System.
