A Georgia mother who was arrested for allowing her 10-year-old to get a tattoo said she had no idea it was illegal for him to get one, even with her consent.
When Chuntera Napier’s son Gaquan Napier asked her if he could get a memorial tattoo for his 12-year-old brother Malik who died after being hit by a car, Napier was touched by the request.

Shouldn't they have arrested the tattoo artist as well?
Joe,
It did say that he was "under investigation" but we know what that means...
This is surely a touchy subject, because on one hand, his mother said it was OK and it was for a manorial to his brother...
At the same time, I can see where the law is trying to accomplish something useful and for protection however, if the mother is there and gives consent and its not like a gang tattoo then what is the problem?
I agree with you Joe as well as 2:53. First, personally, it should have been no ones business. While I personally would not do it for my 10 year old, it was a memorial tattoo. The tattoo artist should have also been arrested and should know the law. There are worst things, such as a gang tattoo.
Just another thing that we cannot do as citizens of the USA. With the parents consent I see no problem with this. But now the government wants to control every aspect of your life. They even want to tell you what kind of light bulbs you have to put in your lamps. If that isn't ridiculus.
