I'd rather pay a toll at both ends than a double increase going one way.

They make it sound like there is no choice. Taxes or tolls?
How about quit spending?
That's a choice too!

IMO - Increasing the gas tax 5/10/15 cents makes everyone (including non-MD'ers passing through) pay. I-95 is a major North/South US interstate with tolls at the tunnels. I-70 major East/West interstate, but no tolls. Getting to OC - most pay a toll for the MD Bay Bridge or pay VA to use the Chessy Bridge/Tunnel. More revenue generated via a gas tax and maybe finally eliminate tolls at bridges/tunnels which cause TRAFFIC! Gas is a daily requirement - going to OC for VAC is not! Bushman!

OMG. Somebody actually asking for a tax INCREASE. How about a DECREASE in spending and waste? How about some fiscal responsibility? How about stop spending monies just to get rid of it and justify getting the same amount or more in the next years budget?

How about using the monies for which they are collected and not for other projects? How about ending career politicians?

How about less government? How about the representatives doing the will of the people?

How about we scratch all current government and start over?
