Miracles Do Happen

Today we were so pleased to deliver five televisions to Wraparound Maryland Inc. at 314 Civic Ave in Salisbury.

Wraparound Maryland does so much for the local community, especially with children. In this case, they have more than 130 Families that are in need of being adopted this Christmas.

If you'd like to adopt a Family this Christmas, contact Wraparound Maryland's support team at 410-219-5070.

While their staff visited Salisbury News Corporate Office today I received a very interesting e-mail. A woman contacted me about the TV's and requested one for her Sister. When I looked at her address it said Atlanta, Georgia. I quickly responded by asking if her Sister lived in Salisbury. Her reply, yes but she has relocated to Frederick, Maryland.

Her Sister unfortunately has colon cancer and had to stop working as a Nurse. Her children are going to school and working full time to help provide at home. We not only made the donation but Wraparound Maryland has an Office in Bowie, Maryland and were more than willing to take the sixth TV and bring it to Bowie this Friday so the Family from Frederick could come pick it up and save an additional four hours travel time.

Go to http://www.wraparoundmd.org/ to learn more about this wonderful organization and group of people.
