The commercialization and exploitation of the Christmas season has gotten way out of hand.

Retailers with their gimmick "sale" prices on a few items that cause folks to camp out for days, rush into the stores, and muscle their way in to claim a low priced "prize" have destroyed the spirit of what Christmas is all about.

People are dumb and this is part of why the country is in the sad state that it is. Buy, buy, buy even if they can't afford it.....every kid needs a $200 cellphone, $300 video game, $100 sneakers and the parents need a house that they can't afford and a new car every two years that they rent (lease). Good grief charlie brown!
