MS. MITCHELL: DID IRETON ALLOW THOSE SIGNS TO BE POSTED?

More than 48 hours after her referendum petition drive ended, Laura Mitchell’s signs remain posted at the intersection of Main Street and Salisbury Boulevard – on property owned or managed by the City of Salisbury.

Desparate weren't they? And the petition still failed? You can't just stick signs whereever you want, especially on public/taxpayer property.

Self serving special interests at work again.

Rules are only for some people, I guess. Since Mitchell dragged in city employees at taxpayer expense for nothing on Saturday night, it's obvious that she is just so much more special than us peons who pay her council salary. Perhaps we should call her "Princess," although she'd probably like "Your Majesty" better.

You people, especially Joe are the most petty bunch of whiners in the world. All you do is bitch, moan and complain. You are all worthless pieces of shit. It's no wonder this city is so screwed up. Hell Joe isn't even a resident and all he does is stir the pot. Pathetic human being. Get a life.

12:52 Thanks for the idea of what to call her. I will make sure I do next time I see her. Can't forget to also tell her what a good job she did on getting names......NOT!

If Terry Cohen or Debbie Campbell posted a sign in those places, Ireton would have had the SPD at their homes within minutes. He either OK'ed the petition signs or didn't have City personnel remove them and bill her for their time.
