The White House downplayed the incident today, with the First Lady’s communications director Kristina Schake saying only that “Mrs. Obama was proud to join NASCAR in recognizing our nation’s veterans and military families to raise awareness of this important issue for all Americans. As she has always said, she will proudly stand with anyone making a major commitment to serve and honor our military community and yesterday, NASCAR did just that.”

The first lady was booed because there are so many idiots out here so caught up in the partisan BS, spouted by idiots like Limbaugh/Hannity/Matthews, that has divided this country while those same pundits make a pretty penny off of it. Luckily there was also alot of applause which shows that enough people have the common sense and decency to be able to understand that even though we may disagree politically, we should still show some respect and decor.
Or maybe she got booed because she has done nothing but spend tax payer money on lavish trip for the first family while maintaining this front of being common people but in reality are multi-millionaires. The president flies a personal trainer from Chicago to the white house weekly at taxpayer expense. Are there no personal trainers in DC? The majority of americans are struggling and see little relief from the president. What happened to all those programs to prevent foreclosures?

She has never acted like a first lady. In all the ones I can remember they all had a certain high class about them. From the way they dressed to the way they acted. She has none of these qualities. People are pinching pennies while she is living high on the hog with their tax dollars.
I remember when Carter and Clinton were the presidents and how the media treated even their kids. You don't hear a peep out of the media now about the Obama kids. Why all of a sudden are they off limits? The Bush twins sure were not off limits and neither were Amy or Chelsie.
