Hero Social Worker Barely Survives Tornado, But Workers' Comp Gets Denied

Social worker Mark Lindquist almost gave his life to try to save the three developmentally disabled adults in his care when the big tornado hit Joplin, Missouri in May. But despite being impaled by metal in the course of his work and suffering other near-fatal injuries, his insurance company has denied his worker's comp claims.

He needs to appeal the decision! All states deploy their employees when disaster strikes. They should be covered by workers comp if injured doing work necessary during a disaster.

Guaranteed this ins. is going to say it was an act of nature/God, not just a work accident.

Maybe if he dressed up like a baby, wore some diapers, and drank from a big baby bottle, the government would be more inclined to cut him a check of some kind. Maybe start eating and become one hugely fat "disabled" person. Or get hooked on drugs and claim no one will hire you. He has some options.
